Some things that I have been thinking about the past few months in having to do with the vulgarity associated with organs outside of a bodily casing and questioning this in relation to what our society consumes in excess.
I guess I just think it is so weird and I just get lost in the many ways that it is and how it directly relates to me.
You might want to take a look at Northern European Vanitas painting. That's what this reminds me of . . . only lighter and prettier. However, looking at raw meat doesn't really call into mind excess consumption of meat. What I get out of the images is beauty from something vulgar which is interesting in itself.
